"Oh, well. La di da." - Annie Hall
Originally hailing from the beautiful San Francisco Bay, Mary is now a New York City-based actor and singer. She moved to NYC in October 2014 and promptly got swine flu. (Not kidding. Welcome to New York...) She graduated from the William Esper Studio in June 2019 and cannot WAIT for what comes next! You can currently find her wandering the city and performing with her band - Constant Strangers.
Most recently, she voiced the iconic lines “SKUNK!” and “AHHH!” among others in Pixar’s Toy Story 4. Last August, Mary could be found at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Henry Box Brown: A Musical Journey - directed by Tony Award Winner, Ben Harney. The show was nominated for Best Musical at the Fringe by Musical Theatre Review. Just prior to the Fringe, Mary could be found on set as Megan in the upcoming movie, Stupid Happy, starring Judith Light, Mandy Patinkin, and Alec Baldwin.
From 2016-2017, she co-created, produced, and toured in an all-women's cabaret show, In The Boys' Club, committed to challenging the limited definitions of womanhood given to women by men in the music industry.
Mary graduated with a B.A. in Theater Studies from Yale University in May 2014. While at Yale, she performed in numerous productions, most notably in the production of Hair with the Yale Dramatic Association and in the premieres of the musicals Glass Act and Stone and Sparrow. She was also involved in the very lively a capella scene as the Musical Director of Mixed Company of Yale and as the Business Manager of Whim 'n Rhythm.
